Esri增加了两个新的技术认证考试：ArcGIS Desktop Developer Associate和Enterprise System Design Associate 。Esri 在desktop, developer 和 enterprise software方面，陆续增加了越来越多的认证。
Esri的技术认证计划可以确认个人在ArcGIS方面的技术水平，认证被授予不同专业领域的不同水平的人员，从Associate 到Professional。该计划在全球上推广，对用户来说有以下好处：
- 它使用户单位能够根据ArcGIS的最佳实践认证结果，合理的雇拥劳动力。
- 它为ArcGIS用户创造专业发展机会。
- 它可以帮助公司，政府机构和其他组织，评估现有的或潜在员工使用ArcGIS技术的技能。
- 它提供了Esri软件用户和他们的单位通过认证来和其他人和单位区分开来的方式。
七项认证考试目前已经上市，它们包括：ArcGIS Desktop Associate, ArcGIS Desktop Professional, ArcGIS Desktop Developer Associate, Web Application Developer Associate, Enterprise Geodatabase Management Associate, Enterprise System Design Associate, and Enterprise Administration Associate。
